As such, those that are able to acquire clients, often start their own agency to help those that are having a hard time getting clients have a job, but of course, the agency owners have a cut.

If you are planning to start a VA agency, would it be worth it? Would the time you spend looking for clients be worth the cut that you’ll be getting?

Here are some things to consider before starting your own agency.

1. Credibility

You have to remember that if you start an agency, you will solely be responsible for everyone on your team. You are the one who will face the clients and you are the one who is supposed to make sure that quality service is still met. You have to do it because every mishap will reflect on you and your name.

2. Cut

Yes, you will get a cut. But the most that you can get, to still be ethical is no more than 15% of the rate of your VAs. You have to determine if the cut you will be getting is worth the effort you do, and worth the fact that your credibility will be on the line.

3. Communication

You have to remember that even if your workers are the ones who will be working, it doesn’t mean that you can relax and have them do all the legwork. You have to keep the communication lines open because you will be the one facing the clients.

These are the factors that you have to consider, you have to remember, having a VA agency may be very rewarding, but it can also prove to be a lot of work.
