Nowadays, esports have grown into such a big industry that many companies are already investing big bucks into it. Tournaments are held with multi-million prizes and even scholarships are offered to the best pro players. There are many streamers online earning money from views and support of fellow gamers. That’s how big and competitive the scene of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is now.

Even Alden Richards saw the potential in this industry and has launched his own pro esports team. He introduced his own team, Myriad Esports, during the grand finals of the Dark League Studios King’s League tournament.

Alden said, “I’m here to introduce my very own Esports team, Myriad Esports.”

As part of the grand launch, he invited other players to participate in their upcoming Mobile Legends tournament happening this January.

“Nakita n’yo po mayroon tayong Myriad Esports Cup. It’s going to be happening this coming January 28, 2023. So, I’m encouraging and I’m asking for the support sa lahat ng mga ML [Mobile Legends] players diyan na amateur na gusto pong ma-experience iyong tournament namin,” he said.

[As you can see we have Myriad Esports Cup. I’m encouraging and asking for the support of all amateur ML players who want to experience our tournament.]

He went on to share that their supporters can look forward to more exciting things from his team this upcoming year. Alden also invited others to watch their steams via their Facebook page.

“Registration is still open. It will run until January 2, 2023. I look forward to seeing you all there… Myriad Esports, it’s just getting started, wala pa kaming one year. You can watch all our broadcasts on the Myriads Esports Facebook page,” he added.

Even better, the prize money is at P250,000. Considering that Myriad Esports only started in August 2022, the prize is really impressive!

Alden is really adventurous when it comes to diversifying his business portfolio. Aside from his food businesses, he also has Myriad Corporation, a company that participated in the recent Eraserheads reunion concert.

Alden could be a good role model to those planning to venture into business. Among his tips to business success is to be determined and not let personal emotions get in the way of business decisions.
