Conti’s Branch Opens New “Twin-Store” With Wendy’s Philippines

A new Conti’s branch opened a new “twin-store” with Wendy’s at U.N. Avenue, corner Maria Orosa Street, Manila, Philippines. Dubbed having the “best of both worlds”, the twin-store is a convenient way for customers to get their beloved treats from Conti’s and Wendy’s.

Whether you want fast food from Wendy’s or pastries and comfort food from a Conti’s branch, you can easily get to them now that the branches are right next to each other. According to Eight-8-Ate President and CEO Joey Garcia’s statement on Udenna Group’s website, the project is the product of hard work and dedication from their team. One of the ways in which they planned to enhance the quality of the customer service provided by their food network was to open a twin store.

He stated, “We are grateful to our team members who have worked tirelessly to bring this new store to life and their unwavering dedication to providing customers with exceptional service. Maraming, maraming salamat. Conti’s and Wendy’s success comes not from us leaders but the people we work with—the farmers, our servers, suppliers, and the whole team.”

This is actually not the first twin store that the company has opened, but they are excited about opening even more locations like this in the future. Furthermore, it marks Conti’s 76th store and Wendy’s 68th branch.

He added, “We are thrilled to have another twin-store that allows our customers to experience Conti’s and Wendy’s in one convenient location. We can’t wait to serve you and share our passion for good food and warm hospitality with the people of Manila.”

In 2018 and 2019, business magnate Dennis Uy bought Conti’s and Wendy’s Philippines. In 2022, he consolidated the brands into a major food company worth P3.4 billion. Eight8Ate, a division of Uy’s Udenna Group, oversees the company’s food business operations.

In an article on ABS-CBN, Udenna’s food arm is looking at more expansions in 2023 with a target of 200 stores. During the pandemic, when many businesses were slowing down, their company was aggressively growing and had 160 branches. “We doubled in size,” Garcia said.

Recently, the company participated in the media launch for Franchise Asia in order to better prepare for its upcoming expansion through franchising. You will soon have the opportunity to become a franchisee and own a Conti’s branch, a Wendy’s branch, or even a twin store. Surely, we can expect many good things ahead for two of Pinoys’ well-loved brands!
