Former Delivery Man Delivers Himself on the Way to Having His Own Business

As a student, Jojo Vega used to work in fast food for free food. After college, he immediately worked as a delivery man slash driver for San Miguel. He went around the country, delivering beer to groceries and sari-sari stores. He was so devoted to his job that he missed the birth of his children, even had to line up at a pay phone to call his family and check up on his wife.

But his hard work and sacrifices were paid off when he became assistant vice president for sales and trade marketing. When he felt that he already hit a plateau in his personal growth, he joined other big companies in the country, bringing innovations in each one.

After some time, he felt the need to have his own legacy, instead of building others. And this, give way to the birth of Don Revy Australia and Don Revy Philippines.

Though he already has his own business, Jojo went back into his humble beginnings as a truck driver and sales manager. But this time, he also performs the role of the company owner.

He shared that he finds himself doing work that others who had reached his level in the corporate world to be demeaning. He would clean the showroom and, sometimes, act as the deliveryman. However, he does not find such tasks demeaning, as he allows himself to take three steps backward so that he can move 10 steps forward in five years.
