The so-called ‘Korean Wave’ has taken the world by storm, with popular Korean TV shows and movies dominating Netflix top 10 charts across many places. Various Korean entertainment and music have also become popular.
Yet the Korean Wave did not just include pop culture but also food! Thanks to the popular TV shows and movies, many foreigners grew curious of Korean food. This gave rise to the many Korean restaurants opening in various places across the world, particularly in areas hit by the Korean Wave.
BonChon Chicken Restaurant is one of these restaurants. Founder and owner Jinduk Seh aimed to let the world know about Korean fried chicken. He developed a recipe that ensured the chicken meat is tender on the inside yet crispy on the outside. Then, he added a distinct glazed made of soy garlic or spicy.
Opened in Busan, South Korea, back in 2002, BonChon Chicken Restaurant would quickly grow and expand across South Korea and later in other countries. The restaurant opened branches in the US in 2006, then in Thailand and the Philippines in 2010.
How to Franchise BonChon Chicken Restaurant

Take note that there is a 4-week initial training held in the main branch in New York. The prospective franchisee will have to pay for personal expenses; however, the training fee is already covered by the franchise fee.
