David’s Salon is the brainchild of David Charlton who began working as hairdresser in the United Kingdom since he was just 16 years old. He started working at his uncle’s salon before studying at Durham Technical College where he graduated with honors.
Afterwards, David became an instructor at a local college. He would also conduct lectures and seminars as well as attended workshops to improve his skills.
He moved to Manila in 1978 to manage Rever Salon in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, shared Franchise Manila. Later, David would become a partner before turning into the salon’s sole proprietor. He started opening new branches before formally establishing David’s Salon in 1989.

Every franchisee is required to have at least 70 square meters of space, enough for a stock room, a facial room, a staff room, and 10 working stations.

Step 2. Fill out the application form you received and prepare the necessary documents, as requested by the company.
Step 3. Pass the completely filled out forms, together with the complete documents needed.
Step 4. Attend all meetings and wait for approval.
Step 5. Once approved, pay the franchise fee of Php500,000.
Step 6. David’s Salon will take over at this point, helping in the renovations and making sure the franchisee adheres to its strict policies when it comes to salon designs/arrangements and staff trainings.
Take note that you would need to shell out at least Php1 million in total investments before your David’s Salon outlet will become fully operational but the company has good projections for the return on investment (ROI).
