Launched in 2002 by an alumnus of De La Salle University, Francisco “Frank” Reyes, Reyes Barbecue now has over 40 branches in the Philippines. The business model is easy to follow, with the franchise offering not just on the job training program for new franchisees but also franchisee support.
The franchise started out as a small restaurant launched by Reyes who happens to be the grandson of Engracia Cruz Reyes, the founder and owner of The Aristocrat restaurant. Growing up, Reyes spent days working at his grandma’s restaurant.

With his background in the restaurant business, Reyes was able to launch his own brand after trying out barbecue joints across Metro Manila when he drives his bike. Aiming to provide a restaurant that offers a casual dining experience for clients, with dishes that are reasonably priced.
The Boneless Barbecue Chicken with Java rice plus peanut sauce and atsara or eggplant salad is the bestseller at Reyes Barbecue. Aside from full meals, the restaurant also offers snack items, noodles, soups, and appetizers.
