How To Register For Philhealth Online

Investing in your health is a must. You don’t want to spend an insane amount of money if something happens when you could have invested in a plan that will assist you when that time comes, right?

The good news is even if you are not employed, you can register in Philhealth, they have 7 different types of members, that have different benefits and premiums, too.

To register, you don’t have to go to their office anymore, you can do it online. Here’s how:

Pick your membership

Philhealth has 7 different kinds of membership. You first have to determine which one is best suited for you.

  • Employed
  • Self-employed
  • OFW
  • Sponsored
  • Indigent
  • Lifetime
  • Senior Citizens

Prepare your IDs

At some point of the registration, you’ll be asked to upload your documents. It is better if you have them ready already, Here are some valid IDs that are accepted by Philhealth:

  • Barangay Certification
  • Birth Certificate
  • Company ID
  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • Postal ID
  • NBI Clearance
  • HDMF ID
  • SSS/GSIS card

Go to Philhealth’s link

Go to the registration page of Philhealth. Click proceed and then you’ll be directed to the next page, you have to click the “I agree to the conditions stated above and will comply to submit the required information and supporting documents to complete the registration” part.

Fill out the form

You’ll be asked to fill out a form. Complete your personal information. Here are the required fields that you have to fill out:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Sex
  • Civil status
  • Birth Date
  • Nationality

Wait for your confirmation

Once you complete the steps, you’ll be asked to wait for your confirmation email, this is not yet your membership confirmation, just a confirmation that they got your registration. You’ll be asked to click on a link to verify that you got the email.

After confirming, you’ll be given a transaction number (this is not yet your Philhealth number.) You’ll get your number in an email in about 3 weeks after registering.
