From their capital of P500, the entrepreneurs can earn as much as P30,000 to P40,000 weekly. They can even go as high as P90,000 when they have promos online.

Before they ventured into business, Bong used to be an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) while Josie was an employee at a telecommunications company.

In 2017, the couple decided to let go of their jobs to focus more on the peanut business they got from Bong’s parents. At that time, their business was doing well and it became their source of income.

Unfortunately, the pandemic came and their business was forced to close down.

But determined to start over, they began selling ‘mani’ again online with a capital of P500.

“Nauuso yung online.

They also rebranded their peanuts and gave it a new look with a much better packaging.

Advice To Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Josie encouraged other aspiring entrepreneurs to take the first step if they really want to venture into business. In business, you need to be courageous enough to take the risk and face the challenges along the way.

Kung pakiramdam niyo na kaya niyo, gawin niyo,” she said.
