Neil Coleta On Selling & Delivering Bangus: ‘Ang Hirap Pala, Pagtatawanan Ka’

GMA actor Neil Coleta shared some of his experiences when he ventured into several businesses.

Neil recalled that during the pandemic, he started a bangus business where he personally sold and delivered the fish. As an actor, Neil was one of those who lost some job opportunities. He took this time to venture into business.

He shared with Pep, “Nagtinda ako ng bangus, kumuha ako sa Dagupan.

At that time, he admitted that he was starting to get worried about his finances. Fortunately, his bangus business went well.

Malaki ang kita,” the actor added.

He said that while there are those who were impressed that he is very hands-on with this bangus business, there are also those who made fun of him. Some would even mock him that he may be desperate to earn money.

Aside from his bangus business, Neil is also selling milktea, tiger sugar with ice cream. According to Neil, business is good for his mental health and he truly enjoys seeing his customers happy with his products.

He also has a liquor store located just within their house. He said that the good thing about having a store just within their house is they don’t have to pay rent. So, he isn’t too pressured about monthly profit since the operational expenses are quite low.

He explained, “Saka isa pa, bahay namin dati, so wala kaming renta. Bahay namin yung pinaglagyan namin ng store. Lumang bahay, so wala akong renta. Pag walang bumili, okay lang. Kung mayroon, okay lang din.”

Like his fellow GMA actor, Neil Ryan Sese also shared the same sentiments when he ventures into business. Neil recalled how difficult it was to manage a seafood business.
