Finding the idea for a business
With nothing much to do during the quarantine period and with the threat of the virus, Blackwater Elite forward Carl Cruz thought that people will have more time now to clean and disinfect their homes. He started with this idea and soon established CBC Enterprises.

Together with his girlfriend, Cruz sells cleaning and disinfectant tools such as alcohol, dishwashing liquids, soaps, pressure washers, knapsack sprayers, and disinfectant mats.
On the other hand, life goes on for Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League’s Ronnie Matias and will not stop even if there is no basketball, so he has to find means to survive the pandemic. For additional income, he sells bagoong, longganisa, and tapa from Taal, Batangas.
Bambam Gamalinda, the newest on the lineup of San Miguel Beermen, took his love of Sinugba into something that will help him earn. Through BlackBAMBAsgrill, he sells grilled tuna panga, tuna belly, and chicken inasal.
His business found support from fellow PBA players Arwind Santos, Marc Pingris, Junemar Fajardo, Rome Dela Rosa, and Jio Jalalon.

Meanwhile, PLDT Spikers’ Turf Jayvee Sumagaysay shares her sentiments on the economic implications of the pandemic. He said that the more extended period of staying at home means more expenses. However, they do not have income since there are no tournaments in the meantime.
