According to Rosemarie, she established her Mysterious Madre Cacao business at the age of 19. While she was still studying as a Medical Technology student at the Far Eastern University, Rosemarie discovered the organic dog and cat shampoo.  Aside from handling an online business that sold her Madre Cacao invention, she also sold Saint Bernard puppies and earned P300,000 from it.

Despite earning her degree in 2015, Rosemarie decided not to pursue a career related to her course. Instead, she established Rosmar Pet Salon located at Sampaloc, Manila at the age of 21. Since she only hired one all-around staff at that time, Rosemarie was very hands on with her pet shop business.

“Tulong kami sa lahat ng bagay. Binigyan nya ako ng knowledge on how to facilitate, how to work it out. Kinaya namin! Kahit boss na ako at the age of 21. Feeling staff parin. Down to earth. Nakikinig ako saknya kasi mas marami syang experience sa petshop industry,” Rosemarie wrote.

Not long after, Rosemarie decided to put up her third business- Rosmar’s Cage Restaurant located near her petshop. Like her second business venture, Rosemarie, who is now 23 years old, was also very hands on with her restaurant business.

“Everyday akong nag babantay. Di tulad ng ibang boss, iniiwan lahat sa tauhan. Pag maraming customer, ako ang nag luluto. Tinutulungan ko sila. At pag walang customer, nag kwekwentuhan kami at nag chi chill,” Rosemarie added.

In the near future, Rosemarie intends to open her very own veterinary clinic and massage spa salon.

Although Rosemarie is often told that she has talent in running and managing a business, she said determination and her good relationship with her employees helped her achieve business success.

“Sabi nila swerte daw ako sa business. Magaling daw ako mag manage, maganda daw kasi mga ideas ko. Ang sagot ko, nasa determination lang talaga at pakikisama sa mga tauhan,” Rosemarie revealed.
