How to Cook Baked Cheesy Kimbap

The following are the ingredients in making baked cheesy kimbap:

  • 3 cups rice
  • 1 pack nori (cut into pieces)
  • Sesame oil (improvised: 1 tbsp vegetable oil + 1 tsp sesame seeds)
  • 250g crab sticks
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ pack of Cheezee spread, milky white
  • 1 pc Cucumber
  • 1 pc carrot
  • 2 pcs egg, scrambled and added with a pinch of salt

Step 1. Prepare the ingredients.

Step 2. Scramble the egg. Add a pinch of salt and cook. Set aside.

Step 3. Prepare the crab sticks by spreading the meat using your hands.

Step 4. Mix the oil with sesame seeds and the cooked rice.

Step 5. Peel and mince both the carrots and cucumber.

Step 6. Mix the carrots, cucumber, and shredded crab sticks in a bowl. Add half a pack of the Cheezee milky spread.

Step 7. Assemble the ingredients in a pan. Mommy Thoughts used a 10 x 9 pan. Add the rice with sesame oil. Put the scrambled egg. Add the cut nori. Add the vegetable and crab mixture. Flatten and add more Cheezee milky spread. Then, top with mozzarella cheese. Finish with some cut nori pieces.

Step 8. Bake in preheated 175°C for 15 min.

Step 9. Cut more nori seaweed sheets.

Step 10. Take a small piece from the baked cheesy kimbap and put on the cut nori sheet. Enjoy!
