In Catanauan, Quezon, Jonald and his wife decided to start their samalamig food cart business in the streets. They soon found a way to expand their business by offering samalamig food carts for events like birthdays, weddings, and other parties.

“Nagsimula yung idea na yun nung one time may nagprenup doon sa may cart namin,” Jonald shared with GMA’s Pera Paraan.

With the help of their family, the couple was able to raise P80,000 to build two samalamig carts. Their investment was all worth it, as their business is now earning over P14,000 to P35,000 weekly.

Advice To Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Jonald’s first advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to make the first step. Like other successful businessmen, Jonald also encouraged others to be hardworking and be determined to achieve their goals.

“Basta umpisahan niyo na lang, iexecute niyo ngayong na, at trabahong malupit lang para maisakatuparan ang gusto niyong negosyo,” he said.

How To Make Buko Pandan Samalamig

Start preparing the ingredients which include gulaman, creamer, honey, and brown sugar mix, and their homemade buko pandan syrup.
