Who is Mateo Lorenzo (full name Mateo Rafael Gonzales), aside from being the husband of Pinay actress Erich Gonzales?

1. Net Worth: Around $5 Million
According to the Sports Grail, Mateo has an estimated net worth of a whopping $5 million (around Php281.9 million) in 2022.
Although these are merely estimates and can easily go up or down by a couple of millions (if based on stock prices), that net worth might be close to the real thing.
2. He Comes From a Super-Rich Family with 12 Kids
Mateo is the son of business tycoon Martin Ignacio Lorenzo (the CEO, president, and chairman of around 18 companies, including Central Azucarera de Tarlac Inc. and First Lucky Agro-Industrial Corp.) and his wife Maria Leah De Leon.
His dad, Martin, is also among the heirs of Del Monte – so, yup, they’re super rich.
Now, in movies and soap operas, rich families usually have one or two kids only (such as “Richie Rich”). Surprisingly, Martin and Maria have 12 kids!
3. Despite Being Super-Rich, Mateo Grew Up through Hands-On Parenting
After learning that Mateo’s parents have 12 kids, everyone surely expects that they also have a battalion of maids and nannies to care for each one. Yet the family didn’t have stay-in maids – and the parents themselves not only took care of the kids but also prepared their meals and organized their schedules.
Dad Martin explained that they want their children to know that their parents are always there for them no matter what.
4. He’s Smart & Cool
Mateo earned his degree in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University, then he went to Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (an “Ivy League” university) to earn his Master of Business Administration.
But it’s not just books and numbers for this smart young man. PEP revealed that Mateo loves to play golf and is into show jumping, cars, and traveling.
5. He’s Super in Love with Erich Gonzales
Ok – we haven’t really heard powerful declarations of love from Mateo to Erich, but the young star had previously mentioned that she has a ‘persistent and consistent’ suitor. The guy was later identified as Mateo.
The couple got married in Alabang, Muntinlupa, back on March 23, 2022.
