Gourmet tuyo has been one of the popular products to sell, especially among celebrities. For instance, Nora Aunor and Matet de Leon have their own brands of gourmet tuyo. Even Neri Naig started her success by selling gourmet tuyo.

This time, Ogie happily shared that they have expanded their gourmet tuyo business to Japan. He posted on Facebook showing their products on a grocery shelf in Japan.

He wrote, “We are proud to announce that @greenfood.ph is now in JAPAN and I am here with my partners upon the invitation of IBCorporation Japan to see their operations!! @edsontamada @sushireyes @tal.vale MORE visits to the stores tomorrow!!!”

Ogie’s tuyo business is not actually new. They have been marketing their business even way back in 2018. In an article in Push, Ogie shared how he isn’t afraid to lose his popularity because he has investments and businesses. According to Ogie, he and his wife, Regine, have investments in restaurants and production companies.

Ogie said, “Meron kaming negosyo ni Regine, it’s called Green Food. It’s gourmet tuyo na mina-market namin ngayon at sobrang mabenta. Then I have a sound and light company called Thunder and Lightning at nagsu-supply din kami sa ibang concerts and parties.

[We run a company called Green Good with Regine. Today, we are marketing gourmet tuyo, which is a huge success. Then there’s Thunder and Lightning, a sound and lighting company that supplies to various events and celebrations.]

The actor also admitted that they also have failed businesses, but he said he is just enjoying it. He stated that he is used to hard work and that running a business is not difficult for him.

“Sa totoo lang, enjoy lang ako sa ginagawa ko. Tapos, sanay ako sa hard work kaya kung anuman, kung saan man ako ilagay okey lang, okey lang sa akin,” [Truth is, I’m just enjoying everything I’m doing. Then, I’m used to working hard so whatever and wherever life leads me, I can manage.]

Many successful entrepreneurs, like Ogie, constantly advise new entrepreneurs to enjoy learning and managing their businesses.
