Bakery In Los Los Baños Gives Away Free Bread For Those In Need

Many entrepreneurs are really showing that you can run a business with a heart. Several businesses have proved that you can still run a successful business while showing generosity and kindness to others. A perfect example is Mang Romy who sells lugaw for P2, just to ensure those who are hungry and have little money can still eat. This time, we go to Los Los Baños, Laguna to find a bakery that doesn’t mind giving away free bread to those in need.

Wildbreads in Laguna is showing what “community” is all about by giving away free bread. Just to clarify, the bakery said the free bread is only available until supplies last. However, they will be making more soon and will just put out the bread outside their bakery for all.

Early this month of May, Wildbreads earned the praise of many when they shared on Facebook that they had given away loaves of bread for free to anyone who wanted them. They explained that when they are making croissants, they often get trimmings. Instead of throwing them away, they decided to turn them into bread and give it away for free.

The post stated, “FREE BREAD! Not many people know that when we make croissants, we trim a lot of the dough and we usually end up with a lot of trimmings. To make good use of them we turned these dough trimmings into loaves and now they’re here.”

The post added that while the bread is free, they hope it will reach those who need them the most. “If you or anyone you know could use some free bread, please drop by the store and take a half loaf or two! These croissant trimming loaves are all for free – but we do hope we can give away these breads to those who really need them. Available until supplies last!” they added.

What a great way to pay it forward to the community they serve! Wildbread makes pastries, pizzas, sourdough loaves, and more, so we’re sure that free bread tastes great. A heartfelt “well done” to these generous business owners who prove that there is more than one reason to run a business: caring about the community you serve.
