On Instagram, Heart shared a sneak peek of her first-ever art toy release in collaboration with Secret Fresh Gallery,  the country’s premiere artist vinyl toy shop. Her collection is dubbed the “Seasons” and is a set of 12 3-dimensional hand-painted resin figures. If you’re a big fan of Heart, you’ll recognize that the hand-painted figures are miniature versions of the women or subjects that appeared in her several paintings.

Each set comes in a special wooden box with a personal message from Heart. Only 50 sets will be available for a limited time, with each set priced at P200,000.

She wrote, “My first ever Art Toy release, a collectible set of 12 figures—each hand-painted—will be released in a limited run of only 50 sets. My other stories/works will also be displayed (thank you already for the love).”

Aside from Heart’s art toy collection, her paintings will also be on exhibit at the Secret Fresh Gallery starting August 28.

Secret Fresh gallery owner Bigboy Cheng revealed in an interview with ABS-CBN that Heart has long wanted her own collectible art. The artist is a big fan of Bearbrick, a sought-after collectible toy designed and produced by the Japanese company MediCom Toy Incorporated.

Bigboy said, “Three years ago, nag-usap na kami. Bumibili siya dito ng toys talaga. Then gusto niya gumawa.”

He added that only 40 of the 50 sets would be up for sale, and the art toys were already selling like hot pancakes. He’s confident it will be sold out in just a snap! “Ubos na yan in two days maybe,” the gallery owner said.

Toy collecting is also a great idea that allows you to turn your hobby into a business venture. Many toy collectors like Richard Licop have found success in toy collecting. From being a dishwasher, Richard became a  successful businessman selling sought-after toys to avid collectors.
