A small tapsihan is earning big bucks as they whip up delicious all-day breakfast meals. Lorelie Anggat, a franchisee of Tapsi Shop shares some business tips on how to make a tapsihan successful amid the pandemic.

According to Lorelie, they wanted to venture into business due to the financial constraints of the pandemic. They just wanted to open a small tapsihan so they could manage it properly.

“Gusto ko talaga magnegosyo gawa nitong pandemic. Isang maliit lang na tapsihan lang ang gusto ng husband ko. Nag-usap kami. May isang officemate siya na nagfranchise ng Tapsi Shop,” she recalled on GMA’s Pera Paraan.

Lorelie since she will be at home most of the time due to the pandemic, it will be perfect for her to manage it.

“Since nandito lang ako sa bahay, pwede na ako maghands-on sa negosyo,” she said.

Since then, their tapsihan became an instant hit. Many customers love their ‘pusisig’ or ‘pusit sisig.’

Conveniences of Owning a Franchise

Lorelie explained that owning a franchise was their best choice in owning a business. She said it’s very convenient and easy to manage. When her husband is not around, she can just call to order more stocks.

The business owner admitted it was a big risk to open a business amid the pandemic. Fortunately, everything went well and she’s very glad her business is booming.

Lorelie said she invested a franchise for P75,000 last 2020. Now, they are earning over P200,000 a week.

“Maraming tapishan sa Alfonso pero since nagbukas kami ng Tapsi Shop, dinarayo siya ng tao at nagboom siya,” she shared.

Those interested to open a Tapsi Shop franchise can start with a P120,000 investment. This includes the stocks and equipment, as well as the training and marketing of staff.

Lorelie said her best business tip is to focus on good customer service. It’s important to make a connection with your customers. You welcome them and make short chit-chats so they feel comfortable.

How to Make Pusit Sisig

First, mix the spices and ingredients that will go in the belly of the pusit/squid. Mix crispy pork, chili, mayonnaise and seasoning. After filling the pusit, you can now cook it. Squid is easy to cook and you can put it on a sizzling plate once done.
