Can you imagine being a millionaire in just a matter of hours? The TikTok content creator and entrepreneur, Rosmar Tan, says it can be done!
Everyone seems to be getting into the craze of online selling. Rosmar is one of those who struck gold by live selling her skincare and beauty products. She proudly shared her success story, from being a TikToker to being the owner of a successful business.
In an episode of Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgemental,” Rosmar shared how she first gained popularity on TikTok through her dance videos. She said, “Ang content ko lang po before is nagsasayaw-sayaw lang po ako and nung pandemic lang po ako nag-simulang mag-TikTok tapos po pinagtatawanan talaga nila ako kasi ang pangit ko raw sumayaw.”
As her fan base grew, several companies started paying her to endorse and market their goods. Rosmar quickly realized that instead of promoting other brands, she would be far better off selling her own.
She said, “Before po, lagi lang po akong nag-e-endorse ng iba’t ibang brands, TikToker po kasi ako, lagi po akong hina-hire, so naisip ko what if gumawa na lang ako ng sarili kong brand para ako ‘yung kumita.”
In February 2022, Rosmar first launched her makeup line. It was such a big hit that she started venturing into more beauty and skincare products. Among her bestselling products are the Rosmar Kagayaku Rejuvenating Set, Kagayaku Whipped Soap, Kagayaku Slimming & Whitening Food Supplement, and many others.
Rosmar now has a huge audience with 11.2 million followers on TikTok. Her business grew with thousands of resellers and distributors all over the country and even abroad. According to her, she can earn over P5 million to P8 million when she live sells her beauty products.
She said, “Noong last time po na nag-live po ako, 4 hours, kumita po ako ng 8 million pesos.”
But not everything she earns is hers to keep. Rosmar said she goes on live selling to help her resellers and distributors earn. She’s also generous by giving commissions and incentives to them.
She explained, “Bale ina-affiliate ko ‘yung mga resellers and distributors ko, ‘yung kitang ‘yun hindi siya napupunta sa akin bale nagpapakapagod ako mag-live para sa mga distributors ko.”
There have been many entrepreneurs who have found luck and success in the skincare and beauty product business. For instance, a 16-year-old student became a millionaire after selling skincare products online. So if you’re looking for a product, maybe the skincare business could be right for you!
