The Coffee Project, owned by self-made billionaire Manny Villar, has been dubbed one of the world’s most Instagrammable cafes. In essence, an Instagrammable cafe is one that has been styled to create an aesthetically appealing background, typically for the purpose of taking pictures to share on social media. These cafes go all out in terms of decor in order to attract customers and also create hype on social media.

Recently, the international food and travel website Big 7 Travel released its list of “The 50 Most Instagrammable Cafés in the World.” The site claims that its staff has extensively traveled the world in search of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes and ranked them accordingly. The site explained that the cafes on their list are “absolutely beautiful” and that it is a great guide for those exploring different cafes all over the world.
“We wanted to round up the best cafe designs and the most exciting food from around the world. Whether it’s the setting, the decor, or the creative dishes, there’s something special about every one of these spots. The places that you simply cannot afford to miss when arriving in a new city,” the website noted.
The Philippines made the list, with Manila’s Coffee Project ranking 32nd. The website described the place as a welcoming oasis. It stated, “With multiple branches around the city, the feeling when walking into a Coffee Project is always a welcome one. With soft lighting and lush greenery, it’s an oasis of calm and beauty in this bustling city.”
According to an article in the Manila Bulletin, this isn’t the first time Coffee Project made it on the prestigious list. In 2019, it was ranked number 24, making it the only Filipino coffee shop on the list.
On its official Facebook page, Coffee Project couldn’t be more proud of its achievements. They invited more patrons to take a look at their stylish interiors and accents that are perfect for photos. They wrote, “They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and we couldn’t agree more when it comes to Coffee Project. Coffee Project, named the only Instagrammable coffee shop in the Philippines by a travel website, is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds, with stylish interiors, whimsical accents, and irresistible drinks. So if you’re looking for a new spot to snap some envy-inducing photos for your Instagram feed, this is the place to be!”
